wow how cool its a rhinocerous beetle and i believe theyre very rare, not sure how to care for one tho but i'll see if i can find out, altho if i were you i'd release him once the weather warms up so it can hopefully breed.

Rhinoceros Beetle? COOL! My baby brother loved it!!! \m/ I gave it mashed persimmons to feed on. Im currently in Malaysia and cant believe I caught a RARE insect. That would be cool.

oh i thought you were in the UK so not sure if the Malaysian variety are are rare but it says on this link theyre commonly kept as pets in Asia so theyre probably not rare over where you are....hes still a very cool little animal tho

Nah, Its rare in Malaysia too. Actually, I live in Singapore. I came to Malaysia, for Christmas only. I love beetles. Hehh. How can I know the gender of the beetle?
