ID this one please

I found this at the lfs (local fish store), the seller said it can live with other fish.
So I bought 2 of these, next day morning one of these been eating my gourami

I don't know what these are, I moved these to my old back up tank (15g). Any idea what these are called? the guy at the lfs said they are shrimps but these are definitely too big to be shrimps.

Not having any idea as to what size shrimp get to I had a google around to see, and yes it is a shrimp, but the most surprising find is that you can get some shrimp that are almost the size of lobsters.

It's a crayfish. They usually become aggresive and will kill/eat your other fish. Put it in another tank or even a bucket they r pretty easy to take care of. I've had 2.

Harmless? The petshop definitely lied to you. These crayfish will make a meal out of your tetras. Keep them away from your fish.
