Afican Pygmy Hedgehogs advice please ...

Hi im sorry to bother you, my female african pygmy hedgehog gave birth on the 14th september, babies are chirping etc so they doing well, (they are in a igloo type box so cant see how many etc) i went into cage today to clean her out ( moving the igloo so as not to distrub them) and i have noticed that her poo is a little green, its not runny. I think she needs to see a vet but i cant get her out of the igloo without disturbing her and the babies (she is being a very good mum and doesnt mind us replacing food or water ar cleaning out cage) and i am worried that if i do open the igloo to get her out that when i put her back she might kill the babies. what can i do??? or should i ring the vets and just ask for anti biotics to give to her without him seeing her please help as i dont want her to harm the babies

I would maybe try and ring the vet, it might be something as simple as the food being a little rich or something like that.

If not try one of the forums that are for hedgehogs they are very good and will help out.x
