Exclamation Mantis lost its leg

I am so scared. yesterday night my mantis molted unto an adult. it was fine when i woke up.but it wouldnt eat and when i came home he had lost a leg! PLEASE HELP WHY WONT IT EAT HOW LONG WLL IT LIVE! PLEASE PLEASE

Not sure if it is the same with mantis', but with stick insects it is not uncommon for them to not eat anything straight after a moult - they need to rest and let their skin dry and "harden" in the air which takes a while. I know some stick insects like to eat the shed skin - has you mantis done this? If so, it's probably still a bit full.

Keep trying it with food, but my guess is your mantis will eat when it is hungry keep us updated!
