These are the GALS slip n slide. We took them in as their previous owner was fed up with them and going to incinerate them. I find them amazing even though all they do is eat and lay hundreds of eggs. They are fairly easy to keep and quite low maintenance but kids do get bored of them in less than 5 mins so not really a good pet for kids.

These have just reached maturity and laid a clutch of eggs each so they do still have a bit of growing to do but not too much.
I dispose of the eggs as soon as they are laid by putting them in the freezer for a few days. It is illegal to release these snails into the wild in this country so some thought about them is needed before ownership. They are also hermaphrodites so both of them can fertilize and lay eggs

me too, i grow the veg for the pets in tubs now to keep the slugs n snails off because i dont want to use pesticides on the pets food lol
