my daughter loves horses

Hi all my daughter loves horses, I took her for a pony ride in late last summer and she loved it. She had just turned 3yrs at the time. I really want to take her again but in london they only have pony clubs from 4-5 yrs.

I'm really looking for advice on this because I really want her to start soon. As a child I too loved horses but never had the chance and I dont want that for her!

Anna

Re: my daughter loves horses

all our riding school dow here where i am start from 4 years old its more to do with they have more balance and more control and understanding of what they are doing.

once she is 4 go to all the riding stab;es close by and pick the best one with the best reviews we have one here that has great publications but once you have had a coupld of lessons you realize they aren't as good as they say they are. so really look around.

good luck

Re: my daughter loves horses

Most stables will let a 3 year old have a quarter of an hour ride.Although they cannot learn an awful lot at that age it is great for getting their confidence up.
Ask the local stables if you could book a private lesson for 15 minutes and I sure they would oblige.
