Does anyone near tondbridge want someone to ride with? I have a 7 year old horse, very sociable with other horses who loves to hack out - and i would love someone to go with! Also, does anyone have any tips on how to talk to people in the yard that you don't know?

Unfortunately, I don't have a horse at the moment - I hope you find someone to ride with.

With regards to talking to people in the yard, it's the same as talking to people anywhere.

Start off with friendly smiles, and greeting people. If you need an ice breaker, you already have something in common - horses! Use this as your starting subject. Most animal people love to talk about their animals - so ask people their horse's name / breed etc. This will help you to strike up a conversation.

Good luck with finding friends in the yard - and you'll probably end up with a few riding companions as a result!
