i seem to have found myself leaning forward slightly when i ask for a downward transition

any tips?

Try doing alot of work without your stirrups.. that should help your leg position which will inturn will help your seat.

Hii, yes taking away your stirrups helps alot, i used to have this problem when i was learning and my instructor told me to try and lean far back in my saddle, as i was used to leaning forward i would end up straight Hope this helps..x
