Neck Reining and Leg pressure

Im trying to or was trying to retrain my mare to neck rein instead of direct rein. I feel more comfortable and safe being able to neck rein but she has never even been started with the basics and Ive never trained a horse to neck rein before so if anyone has any tips on neck reining or leg pressure let me know.
