Back in the Saddle!

Well after 3 yrs getting over a back injury I am finally getting back in the saddle!

I am going to be having dressage lessons on my Aunties horse who is a gentleman but I'm a bit nervous as he's a big buggar, 16'3 hh Dutch Warmblood!

Got my 1st lesson with him on Saturday.. please wish me luck ha!

Here's a pic of Alfie (this may get confusing because my cat's called Alfie too )

Yeh it's a bit nerve wracking isn't it, when I was younger nothing phased me at all! Different story now!

How long were you not riding for before getting back into it?

Re: Back in the Saddle!

Well the lesson went well but decided to bite off more than I could chew and did some jumps at the end and went a cropper on one, my falt not the horse!

I'm going to need that Radox now, in agony! one big horse to fall off! But I got back on and going to ride him again next week

This pic was taken after my fall so forgive the dodgey seat, was a bit sore! lol
