Ted is a star,only had him 6 days but he does as i ask.Lunged and long reined him today.He was brill.needs some practice but made a good start.long reining was a bit tricky trying to hold all the loops of line and trying to hold the whip and steer at the same time.Wondering if lead ropes might be better for now!

When long reining- Try using the rope as a whip too, just tap it against his bum and click or ask him to walk/trot on and see if this works with him. From the sounds of it he will learn what you want pretty quickly
