Breaking My Horse

Over the last couple of months i have taken the plunge and started breaking my rising 4 yr old friesian mare. It has been textbook so far, she has not been at all upset about anything, not even so much as a buck! And taken it all in her stride. So, naturally, im waiting for it to all go wrong

Here's some pictures from her second ridden session. She'd only been sat on a few times so i was really pleased with this!! We even got up to trotting so i was a very proud mum

Excuse the poor quality pics, they are video stills...

Trot!

And one from onboard

Since those pics were taken she has had her first hack and loved it. The yard is right on a main road and theres not any hacks that dont spend some time on it but she was completely unflappable with even the huge tractors and lorries!

Re: Breaking My Horse

Great pictures. I'd love to have the skills to break in my filly when she's ready.
