Schooling My Friesian

Thought I may as well share these pics on here, I hardly ever do horse updates afterall!

Anyway, Una is my just-turned 5 year old friesian. I broke her last year, did a bit of hacking and taught her the basics, then turned her away for the winter. Just bringing her back into work slowly now and she had her first ever proper schooling session last week. It was mostly in walk, working on getting her to hold herself correctly, to work a bit longer and lower (not easy for a friesian) and to do some bending. We're hoping to do a dressage test soon so need to get some practice in. I thought she did fab, really tried her best and showed huge improvement even in just the 15mins session I did with her

Anyway, these are just video stills so the quality is not good, sorry!

Stretching:

Not so good in trot

And we popped a few little jumps at the end as a treat
