Im so proud of my pony. This was our first time EVER jumping with me on board! She loved it!!

Well done - you both look great What a pretty pony she is - fabulous tail! I sometimes wish I could take up jumping again but my DH would have a fit! He's bad enough when I'm just out hacking

Oh, i LOVE jumping. I have always jumped, I especially love cross country. I've got a rather injured knee from a car crash so I havent jumped properly in several years, but i have a BSJA career lined up for Una if all goes to plan I wasnt sure if she'd even take to jumping as she is not a breed that is known for their jumping ability, but this is definately a good start!

Yes, i was very surprised that she didnt just do cat-leaping, i completely expected that and would have been just as pleased, it is an achievement just to get them over the fence on their first ever, ever attempt But she took me into the fence, sorted her own stride out and popped over it with no fuss whatsoever! She has only jumped twice before, both times just a couple of fences on the lunge, so she was very good to just do it, im so pleased with her

I think its partly cos i have had her from a baby, she is far too trusting If i tell her its ok to do something she will just do it, bless her little heart!

That's what you need with a jumper though. A partnership where you trust each other 100%. (Granted, me being injured is NOT the best example at the moment!)

I know that I can get on Harry and he'll take me over anything he can. He's been a great first horse to learn on!
