Has anyone ever tried the worm counts? and who did you get it from?

I know a couple of people that have. They posted it off to somewhere, cant think where but they found it in a magazine!

I do mine via my vet and its great that I don't always have to worm, no point sticking chemicals in them if they don't need it!

It has all the info there for me to read.

I think i will go for this before i worm them.

They are kept together and i clear up after them so i would rather go for a worm check and just worm for what i need to rather than what everyones else is.

My worm counts usually get done just before I'm due to worm for tapeworm so Spring / Autumn.

I always used a company called Abbey Diagnostics. They were really helpful and are cheaper than the other companies. I used to send one off every 13 weeks and only used to need to worm for tapeworm once a year. Much better for the horse if you just worm when needed. They aren't reliable for tapeworm though - you have to get a blood test done to check for tapeworm (through vet).
