Opinions please on Vitex 4 Equids

I'm out of my depth here,I am normally on the cat forum.My daughters 33 yearold mare has laminitis caused possibly Cushings disease.Until ,if at all ,she gets her over the laminitis there is little point in testing her for cushings.She has asked me to ask the peeps on here for opinions in the use of Vitex 4 Equids.Thanks in advance
