Dun Connemara Gelding companion/poss project to right home.

I've had to make a really hard decision to find a home for a pony we rescued last December due to unforeseen circumstances.

He's approx 14.3hh Dun Gelding, approx 13yrs, Connemara type. I'm looking for a home for him where he can either live as a companion or possibly be brought back into work although I feel he would be happier to just live out his days. He must've have a very bad past as he is quite nervous, although he is not nasty with it. Once he has got to know you he is very talkative and greats me every morning. He is happy to live in or out and doesn't mind being left on his own in the field.
He is in full health, on no medication, very good doer, just had his teeth done, vet checked.
A 5* permanant home is very importanat for this special boy, it is a really hard decesion. No novices please. If you would like to know more please feel free to send me a message.
£500 inc headcollars, rugs.

He's a beautiful horse!

Was he from a rescue? do they not have a contract to have him returned to them if your circumstances change?

Just a thought as that might be a win-win situation, they know his history and so would be suited to sorting him a new forever home.

Sorry if i got the wrong end of the stick, its just you mentioned he was rescued.

No he's not from a rescue, a friend of a friend is a dealer and she brought him over from Ireland, him and a roan were just being left to fend for themselves.

I have had someone contact me today that is interested in having him as a companion for her weanlings, that would suit him down to the ground, she's coming on Monday so i'm keeping my fingers crossed, she sounds lovely and he would be happier as a companion i feel

He has now gone to his lovely new home to be a nanny to lot's of foalies and eat lot's of grass. I'm sure he will be very happy, I couldn't ask for a better home for him.

hello
i live in kent. on 2 jan i lost my beloved chloe she was a 29 year old 15h connemara cross. i had her from a foal.
i still have her life long companion - a 10h welsh mountain pony - ollie.
at the moment he is fine as my neighbour's horse apollo keeps him company. however apollo is very poorly and may not be with us much longer - he is 29.
i am looking for a companion for ollie and possibly an occasional hack for myself.
i have stables at the end of my garden. my animals come first with me. much to the dismay of my husband, however I have told him he does come above the chickens in the overall pecking order, but below the horses and dogs.
i look forward to hearing from you
kind regards jan

I would be interested in taking him on but not at the 500 you ask ponies are two a penny at the moment nervousness is cured with kindness, if you go on Mill view farm on facebook you will see a little pony lying with me you could not catch her about 5 months ago she was a nightmare.
SArah
