14.2 for Pt loan Hucknall Nottingham
I am puttnig my 14.2 chunky cob up for PT loan, duties include riding / grooming / feeding and general day to day tasks.
I am pregnant at present so cannot ride at all so im looking for someone to ride a few times a week. My Cob is a 4 year old but has experience and is reasonablly sensible, wouldnt suit complete novice but he is safe enough. Looking for a happy hacker to take him out for steady work (not someone who enjoys a canter / gallop on every inch of grass) as i want to keep my Cob safe for me and my children to ride / handle If this is you and you are local to Hucknall Nottingham then id like to hear from you. Please note i have a field with shelter and the horses are not stabled over night but free to use the shelters, no elec so anyone who can get up a couple of times mid week before it gets dark or weekend daytime would help loads. |

Re: 14.2 for Pt loan Hucknall Nottingham
Hi
I have a private plot of land in Huckall where i keep my horse and my Mum and Son have their ponies too, so no livery expenses but also the downside of no electric supply. My horse lives out all year round with access to shelter as they want it. At the min my land is quiet boggy and so most riding would have to be on local bridleways (which there are plenty of. Id be happy for you to use the edge of the field to get a feel for being back in the saddle for a while though. At the Moment with the grass not growing im feeding hey. Im looking for someone to help out approx 2 - 5 nights a week to include weekend and week nights to be discussed between us. As im due to have my baby in a few weeks i need commited help to feed / groom / muck the field as well as the riding part. I would ideally like someone who can attend afternoons in the week before 4pm to feed the horses and put up hey nets. If free before 4pm then great - rides in the week a bonus, otherwise riding would prob be a weekend thing as no lights / riding school area. Course this only applys during the dark nights, in the spring / summer when its lighter id be happy for you to ride / do chores anytime before dark. Splash is a med / chunky coloured cob, 4 years old but done loads while iv had him. Iv brought him on from being head shy to totally accepting the bridle and his confidence has improved loads. My Last loan girl was a great rider and has even done some jumping with him but im looking to keep him as a steady family plodder and so looking for rider to be sensible and happy to plod out rather than canter / galloping at every oportunity. Splash is a snaffle mouth and gentle lad. I trust him with my 3 year old Son too. I will not just leave you to find your feet im happy to come along on a ride with you for the first few times and show you round. Also ideally, while its not No1 priority i would be looking for some financial contributions towards the cost of feed which is open to discussion. If you are still interested then call / mail back xxx 07533574472 georgina.clifton@hotmail.com |
