Basically a huge amount of time,money and comittment,you need to have knowledge of horse care to be able to look after a horse properly,and to be able to recognize when things arent right.Continue with the lessons and try to find somewhere your girls can help out with the mucking out and dirty side of things,they need to know theres more to horses than riding and stroking them! then move on to a share/part share arrangement to gain furthur experience
