Help, Advice needed please regarding loan

Hi Everyone,

I am in a very difficult possition right now and not quite sure of my options...
I have had Star for 6 months now but I am really struggling financially and also time wise.
I want to get Star onto the competeing scene ASAP as she is 13 this year but I just do not have the time or money right now due to debts that need sorting.
I am considering putting her out on loan for a year for someone to have fun on and compete and pay lots of attention to her while I work on clearing my debts and then having her back after that period.
I need to think of her right now and it doesnt help that my money problems are making me irritable and I dont want that to rub off on her, as we all know they sense these things in a second!
Does anyone have any opinions on this or any ideas on my options? I cant carry on how I am because it is seriously stressing me out and Star is just sitting in the field most of the time which is NOT what I want from her, she is talented and should be out competing!!!

Please Please help!!!

that sounds the best option to me, but make sure you explain that it is likely to be only for a year to the prospective loaner as they might resent taking a horse that has just been in a field, bringing it one to competition level and then giving it back!

I think the best thing to do would be to either put star on full loan for awhile making it clear to the person loaning that it wont be a long term loan or part loan star so somone could help you out with looking after, riding and paying for her. I think if you put her for full loan, even for a year then you will really miss her and you dont have as much controal. hope this helps

Well I have decided I CANNOT part with her! She is my pride and joy so it is just not happening! Have realised though that half my problem is the distance away my yard is. I am travelling about 15 miles, there and back, a day and it is costing me a fortune so I think if I moved her back home and had all the extra money I would be spending on petrol it would help me out greatly!
Finding a yard is an impossioble task right now though!
