Hi all

Myself and my boyfriend are looking for another horse (or two) - either one each or one between us (possibly) on long term / perm loan.

He currently has a lovely Anglo Arab mare, however he is looking to semi retire her as she has done quiet a lot in her life and has her off days sometimes. He is ideally looking for a cob or cob type around the 15.3 mark (he is 6ft 1 so dependant on the breed/weight he could go bigger or smaller). With his current horse he hacks, schools and shows and would like to continue to do this with his new horse.

I'm looking for a safe happy hacker to join my current horse who isn't the best out in traffic. I'm 5'3 and 9 stone so can go down to a stocky 13.2, my height limit would be 16hh. They must be safe and sensible in all (well most) traffic and in open spaces as thats what our main hacking is.

Both of us would consider a youngster and I would consider an older horse.

We are both on the same yard which is in Frankley, Birmingham and is a private yard. There are 7 horses on there currently. There is a small menage, fields to ride/school in, 3 grazing fields and all the stables are undercover. We have a strict worming programme and our fields are poo picked every day. All the horses are out 24/7 during the summer unless its hot in which case they come in during the day, in winter they are in at night but out for around 10 hours per day. Mares and geldings are turned out together and all the horses get on really well

Shame you aren't looking for a share as I have a 15.1 hw cob looking for a rider who is more of a mans horse, I am in Shropshire

Would be to far even for a share as we are in Birmingham and also, we would need him/her to move to our yard as we have other horses there
