Re: Competiting...

I only do fun shows, my cob doesn't enjoy showing (last year he bolted out the ring..jumped the judge and tried to hide in the food caravan..not good!!) but we do some jumping classes and will be competing in some local XC this summer. I'm very interested in trying out JumpCross but we don't have anywhere near to try it. I do the odd dressage class but to be honest my lad is quiet a nut job and the last one we entered he did 'working canter' as a flat out gallop and our 20 meter circles were on 2 legs...so I don't think it's something we're cut out for!! I enjoy learning the test but actually doing it in front of a judge leaves me cold.

I prefer a gallop along the beach and popping over a fallen tree to getting all dressed up and cleaning his feathers, so I like to stick to watching showing and appreciating everyone else's hard work! I'm a HUGE eventing fan too so counting the days til Badminton...woohoo my one holiday a year!!!
