have a nice pony in the bedfordshire area that my children (ages 4 and 6) can learn to ride on ? they have never ridden before. thanks

If I were you I would take them for lessons before you get a pony for them, no offence to you but I have family whos kids think ponies and having one is the bee all and end all, after they have seen the work ie. mucking out, brushing, etc they soon become sick of it and you then end up with a unwanted pony. I am not being awful but thats my own opinion and what I have seen with my cousins who were the same age as your children.

Have you had or cared for horses before? xx

i wasnt after one to buy as such just to learn on, maybe on loan or share etc sorry should have made myself clearer shouldnt i

Yeah I mean do you have any experience, people may be reluctant to let you take their pony on loan thats all

yeah i have been riding for yrs and have had 2 horses on loan
