Re: snow

I'm so glad my horses are in the back garden and I don't have to drive to a yard at silly o'clock in the morning with the ice and snow. The horses are all doing well.

Re: snow

The yard is only 5 mins walk so it doesnt really affect us apart from it takes longer to trudge through the snow!

Re: snow

Not too bad so far - would've been a nightmare without the 4x4 tho! Horses are fed and put out in the mornings by YO(weather depnding), let in again in the afternoon. Everyones mucking in with everything so if people cant make it up to the yard, the horses are all taken care of. The YO hubby has the gritting contract for the local area, so it's farly straight forwards keeping the yard free of snow / ice. The taps (and watering system) freezing have been the biggest PITA, we're collecting water from the YO's utility room sink!
