Hi I am new to showing my standard shetland gelding.I am trying to prepare for the new showing season but i am having difficulty finding suitable sites for local shows.So far i have got Mottram show and one held at Hargate hill equestrian.I am in Dukinfield Cheshire.Does anyone know of any good sites or shows approx hour or two from home?Thanks

Trentham riding club hold their summer shows I think at Tittensor which is Staffordshire. I don't know were you are it might be a bit far from you but they used to have in hand classes. There is another one not far away too but I'm not sure were they have in hand youngstock and mountain and moorland classes.

Thanks AArouteplanner says it is approx 66miles about 1 1/2 hours so should be able to do that.Been on Trentham site and there is a seperate class for shetlands so that will be good.

I didn't realise they had a website. I only know as we went there years ago when I had my horses and my mum used to be the club secratary.
