Re: foal
i wouldnt like to say to much as im not sure of the predicument i think if no one comes forward on here look for advice online or in some cases a vet over the phone is quite helpful,i dont really know what it is your wanting to know.a good friend of mine had a very expensive mare who had a foal but was late in the year and when he was 2 months old it was neaR xmas and she dropped weight so badly and the owner could not put it back on as quick and as much as she would like and literally one morning no lie a box turned up and she took the mare away and give me the foal.lovely little fellow he followed me like a dog and i was mum but i was so worried i called a vet and he said theres not much difference in keeping a foal to a horse just keep handling him as much as poss and not to worry that he is only 2 months old as what he needs from mum he has.he competes now and was the most loyal of foals/yearlings i came across.if you need to know more then say i am willing to help in the best way poss
