Looking for stables

Hi All,

The wife wants to move to a house with stables but can't find any good websites with houses on.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Tom

Re: Looking for stables

We are really flexible. No longer have any family ties (all aborad now) so looking around the whole UK. Would like somewhere quite remote and country based.

Re: Looking for stables

Rural scene is a good one, also look at the local estate agents websites in the area you are looking at. My house is for sale and it has 9 stables - 5 of them are double sized and 22 acres, and I'm in Cumbria - pm if you are interested!!!!

Re: Looking for stables

Local agents in my area (New Forest) will often advertise equestrian properties

Re: Looking for stables

Quite often there are some equestrian properties advertised on the New Forest Equine Directory (or NFED) if that is an area you are interested in

Re: Looking for stables

Hobbs and Parker in Kent often have houses and land that go under auction.

Re: Looking for stables

I would love to live near the new forest - the riding is brilliant, although its so busy with tourists
I think location eg access to bridlepaths etc is more important, no point having a lovely field if you cant go anywhere or meet like minded people
You can always build a stable...

good luck in living the dream!
