Hi,

Im from plymouth, devon and am looking for somewhere closish to learn how to care for a horse properly wanting like a share or just if you dont mind me coming along and helping out doing the dirty work around the yard.

I have been looking for ages and nobody seems to be interested in letting me volunteer as i could only do evenings since pestering my boss i can now do from about 3 instead of 5 if i make up the hours.

Any suggestions will be welcome too.

Unfortunately I dont live near you other wise I would say come and help out with mine!
Have you tried putting out some ads in your local tack shop or asking at riding schools? When I was younger I used to work at a riding school on the weekend and in exchange have a free lesson at the end of the day! That way you work with a variety of horses and get to ride.
This was a long time ago so not sure they do this sort of thing now but I dont see why not?
