Questionnaire on riding school horses/ponies!

I am doing a small study on horse behaviour as a research project at uni, these are just a few preliminary questions that I need answering. Please just leave as a response.
Thank youu!!

It is on "do riding school horses really enjoy being ridden?"

Do you own a horse?

How do they compare to a riding school horse?

Have you ever been bitten/kicked/thrown off a riding school horse?

When riding a school horse, do they seem to enjoy being ridden?

When not being ridden, do the horses seem more relaxed?

Please add any extra information here:

How do they compare to a riding school horse? she has a lot more life and is a lot more natural in the sense of she can be very unpredictable at times and does play up if she isnt in the mood to do work and gets hyper when it comes to fun things like jumping

Have you ever been bitten/kicked/thrown off a riding school horse? Yes, was thrown off riding school ponies a few times when I was younger, they are horses, they are not perfect and predictable whether in a riding school or not.

When riding a school horse, do they seem to enjoy being ridden? I dont think they do at all. Who would enjoy riding round and round in circles for hours on end with people kicking at you and half of which cant ride at all or still in the process of learning to ride. They dont get excited or hyper when doing something they enjoy because they do most things on a daily basis.

When not being ridden, do the horses seem more relaxed? I think tey are pretty tense most of the time due to wondering when they will be tacked up next. I dont think many of them are truly happy.

Please add any extra information here:One of the last places on this earth I would want my horse to go would be to a riding school. I think it drains the life out of them and causes problems in the end with behaviour, illness and happiness. Dont get me wrong when I was a chiled it was where I learnt to ride but it doesnt prepare you for getting on a non riding school horse who enjoys life and is a lot more unpredictable.
Hope this helped!!
