Tooth ache.

Anyone got any help on what's best for tooth ache. The dentist can't fit me in till next week

Clove Oil. Tastes nasty but it does help.

I feel for you, tooth ache is the worst thing ever! Hope you feel better soon.

PS. or rub some Whiskey into the area lol

I forgot all about clove oil thank you for that. I'll pass on the whiskey i can't bear smell of it

That's terrible that he can't fit you in until next week when you are in pain.
Mine usually gets me in next day if I need treatment.
Yes I have heard good things about clove oil and something else too but can't remember.
I really think he should see you before that cos you might have an abscess and need antibiotics.

Oh remembered - think it is soluble aspirin rinsed round the mouth.

I think Nurofen is the best painkiller for toothache, especially the quick acting sort. It's the one my dentist always suggests.

It's bloody killing me. there's only two of them and one's away. It's one of those pain's when your not shaw which tooth hurt's if you know what i mean

Yes I've just read that Ibuprofen is the best pain killer for toothache.

Yes I've had that before and they have to tap the teeth to see which one hurts. Can you not ring again and just let him know how much pain you are in? Is he an NHS dentist or private?
