It's worth the fiver to joinNOBS just for the vetinary advice. YOu may get lucky and as for PUBS I know a few who have been accomodated. It'll certainly give them something.......at the moment they got nowt. In addition sometime trainers advertise shooting over the dog trainng days or pickin gup trainng days. Which would always be helpful. I certainly wouldn't poo poo it for a newbie/rookie. And if disapointed, you can take it up with the regional rep.

I might just join so I can have a car sticker though.. imagine Adie driving to the barracks with "I'm a Nob" on his rear window

Hmmm, I'll think it over, had a look at Nobs - but I knew the anagram.. don't know Pubs, I may just go and ask in the local pub, I know the horse and groom see a lot of folk - maybe they'd know..

I did get in touch with Charlotte Smith at Derrity in Newark - don't know if anyone knows her, so I may try some 1:1's or courses in the summer as she does evening work..

Re: After the season

I upset Vicki Payne so any veterinary advice was useless for me

Aimee, you can buy a NOBs sticker without joining. I'm probably still on the forum so could keep an eye out for you, save you a fiver.
