The cheek of it!

I work in a Greggs.. and the shop is on the side of a steet and a little cobbled car park in the middle of the town. Its right opposite me and I can see my car at all times. Anyway I was in the middle of serving and I see this car turn tight into a 3ft space beside me and the lampost.. no body in the right mind would try and do that but they did, caught the side of my car, lifted it up an inch of the ground, parked up as if nothing had happened and went and did there shopping!!! I couldnt do anything as I couldnt leave the shop and a que out the door of hungry dinnertime customers!

They then had a look, got back in and reversed back wards, my car dropped down and they drove away like nothing had happened! I have got there reg, reported it to the police and they are coming to see me tomorrow.. my mint conditon car now has a big silver and blue scuff and scratches on it.. Im gutted!

perhaps for the best you were not able to go to your car. they have left the scene of an accident etc etc.... is that area on a cctv coverage.

I hope Greggs management know what a dedicated employee they have.

oh pooor you! do you have anyone to be your witness to it? take lots of photos for your own records!

my friend has had her car scratched twice in the last week or so! first time was the thursday before last, somebody scratched all along the side of her car, but he admitted full liability. his insurance company aviva have been brilliant apparantly and she had a quote for repair the next day. THEN on sat just gone, she was parking in sainsburys as she was locuming there for the day, and some old guy scratched along the side of her car in the same place BUT he was denying he did it, even though people saw him, and when his number plate kept getting called over the tannoy he said to the CSR that ihe didnt know whey they were calling his numberplate as he hasn't hit anybody (when they hadn't mention that ) she ended up reporting him to the police as unsafe to drive aswell as the possible further damage to her car. apparantly when the police pulle dhim over later that day/the next day there was fresh paint from her car PLUS two other colours of pain over his car ......

I hate inconsiderate drivers, how old was the guy driving the car that hit you?

Re: The cheek of it!

What an absolute numpty, if your still at work try and take a picture of your car in situ so the police can see the space that the other car had to cram it's self into.
