Some of you know that my mother hasn't been well.
Last week she had a blood test that showed that her blood sugar level was very high
Doc thought it may be to do with some of the medication she was on, so stop the pills and did another blood test yesterday.
I just waiting for the Doc to ring to give me this weeks results.
Dread to think what my mother will be like, if she can't have all her sugary foods

She's a stubborn old bird, and even though she's 92, she still walks to the shops. She won't be able to resist the cakes and biscuit

You can get nice cakes and biccies suitable for diabetics - OH is gluten intolerant and *loves* cake, pudding, biscuits.... a bit dearer than the ordinary but worth it to avoid the depravation! Good luck to you and your mum.
