Re: Pet License

I think most of us are nagative about the government etc due to the state this country is in now.
We dont have police walking the streets here either.
Its no good a bunch of us banging on about whats right for the country - we all know whats right and wrong BUT try getting through to the government.
Like I have said in an ideal world this is all positive but in the real world it wont work. We have a country that lets situations happen - children abused and killed due to the authorities cocking up or lack of paper work or lack of staff. We live in a throw away society in all aspects. The irresponsible will always get away with things - the police do little to deter youngsters - giving them the 2 bites of the cherry rule etc.....
So how on earth can we expect the government to help us in the quest to stop animal abuse? In their eyes animals are a lesser entity - as cold as that seems its true - thousands of people own an animal - but we dont know the figures - so how would we force a license or test onto them? Have we enough manpower to check every household?
The unreputable breeders would go further underground and will always have customers who will be happy to buy.
So I would like to say its not negativity its reality.

So basically what you're saying is you're quite happy to sit back and accept the state we're in?

If people of the UK would stop allowing the government to get away with murder, things could change, a good start would be to get rid of Labour.

I'm not going to reply anymore, as it seems people are too ignorant and lazy to do something about it. If you're happy to just let it happen then fine. But I'm not, and I won't.

Just don't go complaining about it, if you're willing to do jack all about it.

BTW I mentioned previously many ways in which the license could be phased in inbvolved no extra labor at all

I happen to think the Conservatives WERE the worst party for the country!

I don't think anyone is happy concerning the state this country is in, but, what CAN WE do about it? Most of us are just normal hard working people who love our families & pets. Since when has any party whether it be, Labour, Conservative, or any other listened to what people actually want? They don't, that is FACT!

Well I dont like Labours' Tax policy.

You Pay Income tax (lets say 40%)

Then, when you spend that money you pay VAT (17.5%)

And on certain things, you pay extra duty ontop of VAT (upto 80%)

Then when you save your money your interest is taxed

Then when you die your inheritance is taxed (40%)

Correct me if I'm wrong but thats being taxed 5 times, on the same money?
All Labours policies are draconian and outdated intentionally so people unknowingly remain paying higher taxes than necessary.

Did you know about 80% of UK households are over paying their council tax?

Check yours here, and make an appeal. You can get your overpayments back and all previous owners of the property can too.

google VOA to do it.

Conservatives dont punish people for being successful. Labour does.

This is irrelevant, but may spark of the rebel inside of you

Re: Pet License

Lets not forget, it was 'good ole Maggie Thatcher' that introduced Poll Tax !!!

If that wasn't punishing successful people, I don't know what was!

Some would have you believe everything was rosy under her in the 80s. It may well have been for some, but it was hell for a lot of people.

Maggie Thatcher is totally irrelevant. She has nothing to do with the modern conservative party.

I don't mind you asking my age. But I can't see how it has anything to do with my judgement of society.
