I really do think they have a tendancy to 'pick on' the wrong sort of people the vunerable single mother for instance, they make 'easy pickings' for them, in cases like this I feel they just like to pretend it isn't happening and bury their heads in the sand because it's like too much paperwork & hard work for them

That is so sad, even the other story of rope marks, to me when you have a child you make a promise to protect,love,care,for them all your life, thats without saying, it makes me feel sick inside to hear of stories like this, poor little love, let down by the system definately.
