Re: do you think i am too strict

No I don't think you are being too strict. I am exactly the same with my lot. I don't think rules and boundries do them any harm at all.

Smile Re: do you think i am too strict

well, just got in now from picking her up!!!!!! so she sort of won i suppose, although she has had a few mouthfuls from me as well, it is really awkward because we live right in the country with no buses( she is currently doing her driving lessons, then i will be up all night worried) and all her friends are in our old town which is 20 mins away by car so she has to get a lift and of course it is my fault for moving to such a stupid place in the country!!! LOL cant win can we??? anyway night all , i am off to bed now , feel completely knackered LOL

Re: do you think i am too strict

Nope, I don't think you're being too strict. If you both agree on a time, that's it. Done.
Also, it must be not very nice for you to have to drive 20 minutes alone close to midnight. So no, you're not. =)

But she is 17, and it is the weekend, so maybe you could compromise? You say 11:00, she says 11:30, you agree to go at 11:15. How about that?

Re: do you think i am too strict

i don't think you are too strict. when mine were still at home i allways told them that while they lived under my roof they abide by my rules.when they got a place of their own they could have their own rules.
