I thought black cars would be a good idea,never look dirty etc,but its the opposite! no sooner than ive cleaned them,they look filthy again,just not going to bother now!takes ages,i dont like car washes as ive been told they scratch.Is there any cleaning products that will help keep dirt off longer...have used a jet wash at garage but drys all white and streaky

I had one of those! thats why i went black i drive down a lot of muddy tracks and roads!

My car is two tone...White on the top brown on the bottom. i clean it about twice a year. It has just been done because i am off on holiday ( not sure why that makes a difference but I've hoovered it to!) There is no point cleaning it where I live and I am helping the environment by saving water!!!

black cars are realy bad to keep clean i am in the motor trade and can tell ya its an art form cleaning or keeping a black car clean!
But i aint bad at it lol

Thats how clean my cars were in the showroom! never to be repeated,it is a art! they look so much better shiny and clean

Is that a navara or warrior?? hubby and i were debating on them today,whats best and whats their mpg??

mines not black but navy blue, it's just as bad to keep clean
i've decided to stick with the look it's got now blue with go faster stripes of cr*p that our lane throws up it

i'd love to get it looking as smart as garryd's but unless we part ex mine i'll never get the "new from garage" look

we had a black clio n it was always dirty, got a grey focus now n thats nearly as bad the best clolour i have has for looking clean was a cherry red clio always look nice, oh n our silver astra wasnt that bad when it was actually running
