luther vandross dance with my father it makes me cry every time i hear it my dad passed away last year age 63 an anything elvis cos my dad was a big fan

Michael Bolton how am i supossed to live with out you was played at my friends funeral, it still upsets me when i hear it...

Also Eva Cassidy's fields of gold was played at another friends funeral...

music can have such an emotional connection to events in our lives.

I had , Time to say goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman at my last hubbys funeral , if i hear it now it really upsets me i get a terrible lump in my throat,

I always put my foot in it. It must be a gift.

A friend had broken up with her partner and was very upset. She asked me to play something, anything. The only popular music book I had out at the time was and old one, things like Bye Bye Love, oops not appropriate, Your Cheating Heart, Are You Lonesome Tonight. The list was endless. I'm not sure if I didn't settle with I Left My Heart in San Francisco.

A lot of songs do bring back sad memories.

One I love is Sitting on the Back Seat Hugging and Kissing with Fred. We used to follow the Speedway and go regularly by coach. The lyrics were perfect because there was a young man called Fred - say no more
