PG rated "swear words"

Now that my neice is a year old and starting to talk, I have made a real attempt to stop swearing, I found though that I had to replace the words I would have used with others for those moments I stub my toes etc.

So my new word (don't ask me why!) is "pickle"

It does work quite well and I now regaully say "oh pickle" or "thats a bit pickle isn't it" and my fav "what the pickle"

my sister does think I am slightly mad, but very pleased I am trying!!!

So whats your PG friendly atlernative swear word? and why if there is a reason?

Re: PG rated "swear words"

Instead of S**t, I use Shoot or when I'm around really holy people, just so they don't think I;m saying S**t, I say Sugar!

So yeah, if your on your own, shoot is probably best. If you're with kids, Sugar is probably better.

I also use others. Here's my list of words I use:

S**t = Shoot or Sugar

B****y H**l = Bloomin' Heck!

C**p = Crud or Damn it/Darn it!

Re: PG rated "swear words"

I say 'sugar' too

some friends of mine own a shop and a market stall selling shoes. They have 2 kids aged 5 and 6. The oldest was asked 'what do you want to do when you grow up' she replied very politely 'Im going to work in the shop with Mummy' the youngest was asked the same question and she said 'Im going to work on the market with my Dad and sell fu#Ģing shoes'
