Re: Hairdressers from hell

In that case he should have never told you he could make it blonde from blue / black , no bleach is good enough to give a nice colour lifting that many shades it almost always ends up yellow , or in a bag !!!!! realisticly you cant lift evenly hair that has already been tinted a darker shade as colour build up on mid lenghts and end will be harder to lift that the hair nearer to the root and so the colour is almost always un even .

Re: Hairdressers from hell

I love my hairdresser, have been with her for 4 years now and while it ain't cheap I always come out feeling great. I have even sat there and told her to colour it whatever colour she wants and its always looked brilliant.

Definately need to trust your hairdresser. For us girls is just as important as a well fitting bra!!!

Re: Hairdressers from hell

I have a friend who is a hairdresser come and do my hair - have done for many years now - shes always done a good job - she now does both my parents and 6 of my friends plus hubby and daughter - shes fab and doesnt charge as much as the shops!!!!
If I had mine done at a hairdressers shop and they had cocked it up I would bloody tell em there and then - you are paying for something and if its wrong etc then you should complain!

Re: Hairdressers from hell

I usually cut my own hair, last went to a hairdressers in 1998, lol. Cutting the back isn't a problem for me as I have my hair pretty long, I twist the hair round at the front and then lop off how ever much I want my hair shortened by, lol, a friend who was a hairdresser showed me how to do it so that my hair would be slightly layered and I only have to lop it off in one go. I'm actually going to get my hair cut this month or maybe next depending on finances at the hairdressers, as I'm after a change, I know which hairdresser I want - the one that cut my toddlers hair, she gave him a really good and cute cut, it is even on both sides even though he threw the biggest tantrum halfway through his cut - if she can do that she can certainly cut hair, lol.

Ring the hairdresser up and explain about the fringe, I'm sure they'll put it right for you.
