me and my sis do call each other "flid" a lot, we used to say "window-licker" people used to think we were being really cruel, but given that we both have disabilties we have gotten used to larghing at each other being flids!

My friends' kid says that! I think a lot of these words become a generational thing, my dad asked me the other day what "emo" is as he had heard some kids talking about in a coffee shop and couldn't make up his mind if it was a band or some type of drug!

We say council pop too for water , and gobbling rods for cuttlery, pipis for slippers , drooby drobe for wardrobe , my son comes out with some great stuff like minging , and everything thats not good is gay !!! everything that is good is sick , I still quite like cool and awsome (in a real fake american accent ).

People in liverpool laff when i say 'ginnel' it means the alleyway between the houses.
My OH has cockney slang like 'birds nest' - chest Mince pies - eyes Plates of meat - he names his mate Pete. lol
