many years ago I left my purse on the roof of my car so I could put my daughter into her car seat, I then got into the car and drove off, there were people at a junctions pointing to my roof and I still didnt realise what is was they were trying to tell me so i waved to them. Then half way to the shops I realised what they were tryin to tell me, I stopped the car and looked onto the roof and NO PURSE. it had fallen off during the journey, all my income support was in there and my milk tokens too. I was in tears. No one handed it back into the police or anything.

Hope you get it sorted and get your £20 back that you gave over by mistake, but unfortunatly as bigbearsrule said there is no way of proving it but hopefully the person that served you will be honest and tell the manager that there till was up!! good luck!! xx

I found a mans leather wallet one day outside our papershop, it had over £300 in it, along with credit cards etc, no addresses so I handed it into the paper shop and told the girl where i had found it. I went into the shop the following day and she said the man had come in and she explained what had happened, he took it off her and said "Ta, thank god I got it back". Not a thank you or kiss my arse. I could of kept that and had a feild day with his credit cards but my honesty would not allow me to do that. It makes me so mad that a simple " can you thank the lady for me". did even get mentioned.
I told the girl I hoped he lost it again and some one would keep it this time. serves him right. ungratefull codgercursing:

Stuff like that REALLY annoys me.

Not too long ago i took our dog Misty down to the dog groomers. We took Molly along for the walk. Half way down they had a small fight in which I had to seperate them. Unlucky for me I lost £20 out of my pocket but didnt realise til a few mins later. My bf went all the way bk to home in the direction we came in and he couldnt find it. There was an oldish couple walking about 2 mins behind us so I can only guess they were dishonest idiots who wouldnt own upto picking my £20 up.

i lost £40 a few months ago although i think an ex lying full of bull friend stole it off me
