Re: aaargh kids!!!

i can't be bothered with kids either lol

i have 2 nephews and a baby niece - that i am fine with - there little friends annoy me though. especially when they annoy my animals.

fo instance my older nephew came running in to the house - he is 8 and told me a boy who is about 6 was and was trying to get my other nephew who is 4 to kick my old cat.
OMG i just seen red the cat had just had an operation on her throat and was mearly sitting in our garden watching the world go by.

luckily enough my mum was there and she went out to shout at him - stating that why do you want to kick a cat! and she that she had just had an operation.
i cant stand when kids dont respect animals!!!!!

i personally dont really have a paternal instinct what so ever, i dont feel comfortable making baby noises at well babies - even my baby niece.

but i could happily do it to my pets!

and i dont want any kids either!

btw what age are you?

Re: aaargh kids!!!

urgh I know what you mean about the animals! These kids are constantly bloody shouting at my dog, which he won't mind cos he loves to play, but they were round a day or two ago and they kept trying to grab him by the back legs and stuff when he was trying to get away.... and they're insisting on sticking their hand in the parrot's cage, even though every single time they go near him we go "don't touch him, he bites very hard" and when we tell them the other birds are frightened of people, they bang on the cages and stuff

There's 3 of them and they're all between 3-8 and they're all over the bloomin house... my dad left me on my own with them yesterday expecting me to chase after them all as well as making sure both the dogs were still in the house (he had left all the doors wide open) and that none of the kids were doing anything they shouldn't be.... arrgh!!!

I'm 19 btw... so i'm not a grumpy old woman, I just really dislike kids

Yeah thats what I was like yesterday.... they were going round the house picking things up and stealing my dad's sweets from the jar and drinking cans of fizzy pop and stuff.... and I don't even know if their parents will let them do that! I didn't want to tell them off in case they started crying or told their parents i'd been horrible to them or something they've been here over an hour now and i'm just not coming out of my bedroom until they're gone. Kids make me feel really uncomfortable cos i've got no idea how to treat them or what to say to them in all truthfullness, I think i'm a bit scared of them, if that makes sense

Re: aaargh kids!!!

I so agree, love my own kids, tolerate some of my friends kids & a couple of my kids' friends (the ones who know how to behave around animals), loathe babies & toddlers & like them a lot better when they are teenagers, as long as they are nice teenagers

Re: aaargh kids!!!

I couldn't stand kids till I had my own now I really like most of them, there are obviously some little 'mummys darlings' who need a damn sight more than the naughty step but most of my kids friends are pretty nice kids. They do need to know how far they can push you and to be honest I couldn't care less if they go back to mummy and tell tales because I told them off.

Re: aaargh kids!!!

urgh thank god, I think they've gone!!!!

I could hear them asking my dad if they could go and see me, and my dad knows I don't like kids so he was like "no she's not very well, she's asleep" and they were asking him for like 10 minutes I feel a bit bad really but I wouldn't be able to get rid of them if they came in

I could hear two of them daring each other to open my door, so I just threw my laptop under the dogs blanket and got in bed and pretended to be asleep just so they'd go away they came in my room and then one went "she's asleep!!" and then they all went downstairs and my dad pretty much chucked them out and sent them home

I'm sure i'll be fine with my own kids one day, but I just can't stand being around other people's kids

I feel really mean cos they are really nice kids, they don't mean any harm to anyone but they're just so loud and annoying and I can't be bothered with them

Re: aaargh kids!!!

I can totally understand where your coming from. I can tolerate my own kids but anyone elses, please stay away. I have no patience for them. Every once in a while I allow my youngest to have a friend in but as soon as they get to loud, outside with ya. Then there's the annoying neighbors kids who come into my yard and leave there trash and pick my flowers.

Yeah that's pretty much how I feel! (minus my own kids cos I don't have any ) I just don't have patience for them.... and it makes me feel like i'm really evil or something but I just don't want anything to do with them, they're loud and annoying and I hate having to constantly watch them and say "don't touch that, don't go in there, don't touch the parrot" aaargh!!

I think I heard one of them break something or knock something over earlier, i don't dare to look
