A great day out

I had a great day today. We went to a falconry and countryside fair. Saw lots of beautiful birds and all sorts of other things. It rained a bit and I'm totally worn out but a good day was had by all.
What has everyone else been up to this weekend?

Re: A great day out

I took my dog Bob to the fair, and he had great fun meeting all the other dogs. mind you he can be a bit vocal when he gets excited and he does tend to slobber a lot, so we got a few strange looks. (i think people worry that he's rabid or something!)
oh dear just re-read this post and it makes him sound awful. He is a lovely beagle x jack russel. He does tend to have a few issues but as a rescue dog I forgive him!

Re: A great day out

Today ive potted some plants for the front garden, pulled all my kitchen 'blobs' out (cooker, fridge etc) and mopped all the floors, and now im shattered. Ollie managed to persuade my dad that cats can be cute and cuddly, as he hates them Which is partly why i invited him inside when he came to pick my mum up hehe.

Sounds like you all had wonderful days, How was the weather for everyone, it had given out sunshine here, but it was miserable all day lol typical but at least its watered the seeds ive planted.

Yes I did indeed. we go every year and although this wasn't the best i've been to it was still great.
I love to see all the other dogs there. You see lots of great gun dogs and terriers! i also love meeting the hounds, as i have a soft spot for beagles!

Re: A great day out

I live really close to the nsh kennels and i think I am the only person who likes having them here. I like to hear them, and at the mo they have the cutest pups which we say hello to every time we walk the dog past!
I keep my fondness for them a bit quiet as the locals are revolting!!!!!! (they don't want them here and are trying to get rid)

Re: A great day out

Hi all... I'm knackered! Went into town for a bit to take some photos, only took 4, I think I'm all creative'd out

So I came home and did the garden.. I've removed all the gravel and bagged it all up, dug the borders, mowed the grass and painted the fence

Going to tidy up the living room in a minute, then get some photos sorted out for MissG!

Roll on work so I can have a rest
