ISDS registration.....any info?

Maybe someone can help me with this...... our pups mum is ISDS registered but her dad isn't. Can we therefore pressume that we can't register Izzy 'cos dad isn't? Do both sire and dam have to have reg numbers? Dad has good bloodlines (Arnpriors/Detania) mum's side seems to be all ISDS registered working dogs. I have been on the ISDS website but can't find the info I need. Anyone help?
Am I even making sense?!!!

Thanks for that. I think looking at the rules we can't register her. Don't really know what difference it makes, unless we were going to use her for herding/trials/breeding? To us she is simply another member of our family, probably the smartest one too!!!

Re: ISDS registration.....any info?

If you wanted to register her on the Activity Register you could - that would enable you to enter her in KC organised agility or obedience if you fancied giving it a go when she's older

Any dog of any ancestry may be registered in the Activity Register. Any dog on this register may then compete in Obedience, Working Trials, Agility, Heelwork to Music and Flyball competitions licensed by the Kennel Club. It is not eligible to compete in Field Trials or Gundog Working Tests.

Thanks a lot for the info, very useful. I'm going to download the application in the morning. Would love for her to compete in any of the above!
