The perfect rice!!!

Whenever i cook rice,i either put to much water or to much rice in.It always ends up soggy and sticks to the bottom i had tea round kay73`s a while back and her rice was perfect!there was no excess water,it had all evaporated during cooking,it was cooked to perfection.so come on kay share your secrets ive forgotten!

Its best to put bay leaves in and when its cooked always pour boling water over the rice in a sieve over the sink it gets rid of the starch and stops it sticking on your plate!

LOL, that's the only way I can get good rice too! Such a simple thing, but so hard to do right!
