Angry Pets at home

Not sure were to put this but i know alot of people commented on another thread regarding pets at home. Well i have just been in my local pets at home and nearly ended up coming out with a guinea pig but complained about it and then went back later and checked they had done something with it ,it had been removed from cage. This poor animal had gunked up eyes couldnt eat properly and was been picked on by the other guinea pigs they were all supposed to be males in this cage but 2 were mating with rest of them . On going back in and looking round again noticed that majority of the animals had no or very little food. They had brought 2 rabbits out while i was gone put them in a cage with no food or water . Have always shopped at pets are home but will think twice about it in future.Sorry for rant just really peed me off to see animals been treated like this.

Re: Pets at home

I hope you're going to complain to their head office?

I have to say I always check our local one when I go in, and they're usually OK with the live animals

I agree ours isn't too bad with looking after the live animals but never take their advice, there's only one of them that knows anything about anything there!

Re: Pets at home

You should definately kick up a fuss - for the animals sake if nothing else.
I complained about one store for overcrowding of the rabbits and guinea pigs.
They seem useless in their. I rekon they employ what mcdonalds turn down!
