i had an epidural, but they gave it too late, in fact the injection was more painful than the contractions and it didnt kick in till baby was here,
second time i had nothing just went with the contractions, easy

oh and i had a very bad back for a long time after, wouldnt do it again but not everyone is the same, just do what you have too and mind your pssss and qssss mine got very strong some words I didnt know I knew!!!!!!!!
