Why are so many people afraid of ....
Rats.
They are the most intelligent of rodents and completely adorable and yet so many people seem to be fearful of them  Of all the little Furies, in my opinion they make the best pets, and want nothing more than interaction. So why are they so misunderstood? So am I wrong, are they bad pets and if you are afraid of them, why? lewisrat.bmp

I agree with u..they are really intelligent. I used to own 2 rats long time ago...had to bring one back to the shop as it wouldnt stop biting me! The other one turned out a superb character. Would do anything with me...even going for walks
 I had a good time with my rat

We also had pet rats as kids 2 black ones! they were really good! I think what makes folk fearful is bad press as with everything else!

I'm scared of rats because they scurry.. anything that can move really quick a climb up anything really goes through me.. spiders, reptiles, rodents.. I think it's just us whimps that are scared of them!
Although I know they are very intellegent!

I have 2 rats at the moment they are lovely pets to have I also owned them when I was a child, they are friendly intelligent and funny

i love rats, i went to college for 3 years studying animal care and management and there they had 5 rats, my fav Basil, he was gorgeous very friendly he used to sit on my shoulder while i did my course work
he was great i really miss him

Sorry im scared to death of RATS.They just freak me out, maybe cause they are fast and scurry. God carnt say no more got goosebumps.

love to watch rats at play but don't think i could handle i sorry must be a wimp but snakes & spiders don't bother me
