yep we are looking for a used caravan and going to take out the one end to make a purpose built whelping 'block' cos we sleep with ours for the first 2 weeks at least!

Yes me too, well at least i know someone else does it too, they all think im mad a work taking a 2 week holiday when the girls have puppies and sleeping on the settee next to them.

ours are too big to whelp in the house as the retrievers tend to have litters of about 10 and it is easier to have a purpose built area for them hence the caravan idea now got everything you want in there heat, light, hot water, bed, toilet, tea and coffee, and no visitors to disturb them
